In the village of Broadwell in the heart of the Forest of Dean , Long Lane cottage, is an old miners cottage that sleeps 4. It has 2 bedrooms that can configure either singles or super king beds in either room.
Wood burner with fire side snug chairs and a cozy front room snug.
It has amazing forest walks and bike trails on your doorstep .
Long Lane cottage is also dog friendly and allows 2 of your furry friends to stay .
On entering the house , you have a snug living room to your left and dining room with wood burning fire to your right. You can access the kitchen via the dining room and the downstairs bathroom via the kitchen . There is also a utility / boot room with garden access off the kitchen with a washing machine and tumble dryer . First floor you will find 2 bedrooms each sleeping 2 guests and one with an ensuite shower room . Both bedrooms have hotel zip beds so we can configure the rooms as 2 x singles or super kings depending on your guest circumstances. Outside is a secure garden with patio area. There is parking for 1 large or 2 small cars at the rear of the property down a small shared access lane . Also plenty of free road parking outside the front of the property .
The property is full guest access with no shared spaces . The property will be entirely yours for the duration of your stay .

Broadwell is a small village about 1.5 miles east of Coleford, Gloucestershire, England. It is at the western edge of the Forest of Dean. We have a local general store 0.5 miles from the house , 2 pubs within a Mile’s walk and the town of Coleford 1.5 miles away . With so many Forest of Dean attractions and places to visit on your doorstep . - Forest walks directly from the house with a secure free dog field within 1 mile from the property . - Puzzlewood 2.2 miles - Perrygrove Railway attraction 2 miles - Coleford Great Western railway 1.4 miles - Forest Hill’s Golf Club ⛳️ 0.5 miles - Clearwell Caves 2.3 miles - Symonds Yat Rock which is part of the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural beauty 2.8 miles - beautiful town of Monmouth .. the gateway to Wales 8 miles - The historic town of Ross on Wye 10 miles - Historic cathedral City of Gloucester 20 miles - The famous spa town of Cheltenham 26 miles 🐎
Bikes - if you are a cycle enthusiast then you have miles and miles of the beautiful Forest you can explore with either mountain bike trials or road bikes to go further afield with great routes and fantastic hill climbs . Bus - There is a bus stop directly outside the property that has regular bus routes to the historic town’s of Gloucester , Ross on Wye and lots of local Forest of Dean villages . Cars - our private parking is at the rear of the property via a private lane , this will fit 2 small cars or one large car . There is also free on road parking directly outside the front of the property .
